Their aim is to provide clients with high-value VERs that represent not just a demonstrable reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, but also clear social and environmental benefits to the areas where the projects operate. In a market where legitimacy is becoming increasingly valued, Social Carbon provides a uniquely transparent way of demonstrating to buyers of VERs that with their purchase they are helping to improve the lives of communities in developing countries.

Westbrook won against international competition to get the project of branding Social Carbon, following on to develop an interactive website and supporting literature. The launch in Koln was bolstered with digital presentations, display material and a funky post launch party.

The success of the project was evident when we were further recently asked to take on the re-branding of the Social Carbon Methodology also in Brazil.
