We are pleased to be supporting the first ‘Market Focus’ event to be held in Ilkley early this month. The Market Focus has brought together a group of like minded businesses who offer solutions and advice to both quoted companies and individuals who invest in the markets. We are pleased to welcome a couple of new faces at Westbrook. Mark Powley has joined us as Web Solutions Architect and is heading up the progression of all our web services, coordinating all new web based project and dealing with innovative new ways of dealing with our clients on-line needs.
Mark is happy to meet clients to discuss their needs, if you would like to talk through anything please drop him a line.

Stephaney Milligan has also joined us as studio artist, and will be dealing with creative projects, we are pleased clients are already singing her praises in the short time she has been with us – watch this space.

Its Clean n its Green

Global Green is hitting the international marine market with their superb range of completely environmental cleaning products. Totally vegetable based, the cleaning solutions will deal with grease, oil and grime on pretty much any surface from fine woods, GRP and plastics through to steel and chrome.

This summer Westbrook were tasked with working from scratch to help build the Global Green brand on an International level. Supplying support literature, packaging & labelling, website and exhibition stands, this project has utlised many of our skills and resources, if you would liek to know more about what we have done for Global Green or more about the company please drop us a line.

QX AIM High

International accounting specialist QX Ltd are aiming high with their latest marketing strategy. Offering clients a staggering £1million guaranteed saving, QX will essentially take over the accounting department of large private and quoted companies. Getting out ‘int Dales

Yorkshire Dales National Parks recently launched, with our help, the ‘Go Dales’ project. Supported by Sport England through National Lottery funding, it aims to introduce 16 to 25-year-olds from the Keighley, Bradford, Craven and Richmondshire areas to the National Park and to the huge range of adventurous sports it offers. It then acts as a link between the young people and clubs and organisations specialising in their chosen activity. The project has had a great start and spirits were not dampened by our ’soggy’ summer.

Kath Needham, the Go Dales! Project Officer, said “We have had a very successful first year which culminated in the project being involved in the Bradford Metropolitan District Council’s annual Champions Challenge in July when 40 young people came into the National Park to share new outdoor experiences, test their teamwork and work on conservation-themed activities led by YDNPA staff.”

The Real Tea Mission

That’s right the nation has finally had enough of the average slop which is crushed into dust and crammed into the nation’s teabags – so here we have it a real tea mission from Teapigs

Louise the Teapigs tea taster (and Director) says ‘It’s about time that tea drinkers in the UK had access to the great flavour that quality whole leaf tea delivers. We’re calling on people to demand better quality tea from cafes, restaurants, and hotels across the country. The shameful brown slop that so often passes as tea just isn’t good enough. Tea drinkers of the UK deserve better – Drink real tea!

So they are inviting tea drinkers to join in, as they pledge to lead from the front, on a mission which is nothing short of changing Britain one cup at a time.

The success of the project was evident when we were further recently asked to take on the re-branding of the Social Carbon Methodology also in Brazil.
